TRIANGLE REFUGE RECOVERY

Triangle Refuge Recovery is a peer led group of people from all walks of life using the program of Refuge Recovery to help end the suffering that addiction causes in our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

We are a community of people working together to recover from addictions of all kinds.

Using the essential tenets the historical Buddha taught over 2500 years ago of Mindfulness, Loving-Kindness, Compassion, Sympathetic-Joy and Equanimity, we have created an enthusiastic sangha (community) to help each other to heal and grow. It is important to point out that our program uses the Buddha's teachings but Refuge Recovery is about healing from addiction, not about becoming Buddhists. If that happens to be your path, that is wonderful, but that is not the intention of the program, in fact people of all faiths and no faith at all are Refuge Recovery members using these teachings to recovery from addictions of all kinds.

The Triangle Refuge Recovery sangha began with one meeting that wasn't even publicly listed in 2016. We have grown into a wonderful community of people who meet regularly both inside and outside of the rooms.

The best word to describe our sangha is family. We have regular get-togethers, picnics, outings and retreats.

The best way to find out if Refuge Recovery would be of value to your recovery path is by visiting a few meetings and getting to know both us and the program. All are welcome. No previous experience with Buddhism or Meditation is required.
